Abstract

The investigation analyzes the experiences of technostress manifested by teachers within their work environment; Technology is a main tool of modern times and, because of this, it is present in the transmission of knowledge of teaching, inside and outside the classroom. The main objective is to describe the experiences of technostress and the preventive mechanisms manifested by High School teachers of the School of Inmaculado Corazón de María. This research uses a non-experimental design, with a quantitative approach, carried out in the city of Asunción, with 40 teachers, applying a censual sample, with the collection of data through a structured survey. The main findings are that teachers present discomforts such as: back pain, headaches, eye discomfort, muscle tension, as well as anxiety, fatigue, lack of concentration among others; in terms of preventive measures used by educators are: Relaxation techniques and positive thoughts towards the use of technology were present.
